Lady Western

As sure evidence that my sleeping schedule has been jacked, recently drafted 7 new stories.

One is a period western. For this new story, it gender bends a traditional dynamic.

Female outlaw with her stolen gold invades the isolated cabin of a widower as she seeks to hide out from a posse. Figuratively, she is a representative of contemporary boss babes living an ephemeral life of excitement without substance.

The story explores her choice to leave a life of hand-to-mouth subsistence on evaporating stolen wealth. As an unintended joke, the catalyst for her transformation is a cat, but the opposite of Boxed-Wine-and-Cats-Land.

If Mauser can do western movies like “Lady Lawman” & “Lady Outlaw,” I ought to take my shot at the genre just for fun. Both of those Mauser films are available to stream on Tubi.

Currently, I am a drafter and plodding editor of my own fiction stories. Looking towards the future when edited stories turn into published ones.

Here I am starting to bare my soul to give you a preview of what I have been working on.

See “Harvest of Blood” in this site’s menu bar for a preview of a draft chapter from Boudica and The Butcher, a novel set in a future Second American Civil War.
