Naming Geronimo’s Spirits

I had decided to change the working title of Chappo’s 21st century Apache-Mexican war story from Geronimo’s Sons.

At first, I was thinking, Geronimo’s Ghosts but according to Copilot AI ghosts have a negative connotation in Apache culture.

After some back and forth with Copilot, I decided to shift to Geronimo’s Spirits as tradition held that Geronimo was guided by spirits, per Copilot. While my story isn’t supernatural, Chappo can use the supernaturalism as a psyop against the Mexican cartel members.

I have added a book on Apache culture to my wishlist, so I can double-check some facts from Copilot: An Apache Life-Way: The Economic, Social, and Religious Institutions of the Chiricahua Indians by Morris E. Opler.
