One of the inspirations for my depiction of the rebels in _Boudica and The Butcher_ is Tim Pool’s “Will of the People.” IMO one of the best songs of the ’20s. It has that cycle of victim becoming idealist who turns into a tyrant creating new victims for the cycle to repeat.
