Inherited Mental & Moral Features

Formatting a story draft about a father and daughter who found out that the mother had cheated then committed paternity fraud, so he was not the biological father.

The daughter was having trouble processing this change and worried that the man who raised her would no longer see her as his.

I like one of his lines of dialogue in the draft.

“Daddy, is it true that because I’m not biologically your daughter, I won’t have any features like yours?” she asked quietly, feeling slightly insecure because of it.

Tim said, “Not physically, but mentally and morally you have my features.”

Here I am starting to bare my soul to give you a preview of what I have been working on.

See “Harvest of Blood” in this site’s menu bar for a preview of a draft chapter from Boudica and The Butcher, a novel set in a future Second American Civil War.
