A recent video posted by author Hilary Layne well represents what I have been trying to do with the female characters in my draft stories.
Briefly that female characters should be believable women instead of acting as if they were men.
While my stories have included women who are killers as soldiers or assassins, they remain women instead of pretend men.
This runs counter to “the message” and its boring inauthentic female characters.
